HVAC&R JAPAN 2018 2018.2.27(Tue) -.3.2(Fri) International Exhibition Hall 4-6, Makuhari Messe, Japan Organizer:The Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association (JRAIA)">

“Solutions for the future lie in HVAC & R" HVAC & R EXPO”

The Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association (JRAIA) is slated to hold the 41st Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning and Refrigerating Expo (HVAC&R JAPAN 2020) over the four-day period of Tuesday, March 3 to Friday, March 6, 2020 at Makuhari Messe, Japan.

HVAC&R JAPAN has played a critically important role and has developed as Japan's only specialized trade fair and exhibition in the heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration industry over the past half-century, providing public relations opportunities for the industry as well as a venue for presentation of corporate technology developments and new products since the former "National Refrigeration Equipment Expo" was first held in 1956. During this period, Japan's heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment industry has become one of the world's technological leaders in the field, particularly in regards to its highly efficient heat pump technology. In addition, our technologies have created comfortable space in various living environments from household to business. We have made crucial contributions to society by providing indispensable critical technologies in various fields ranging from freezing and refrigeration for distribution and preservation, car air conditioning, manufacturing process, to communications equipment and advanced medical equipment.

Now, through the "Paris Agreement" at the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) in November 2015 and the “Kigali Amendment” at the 28th Meeting of the Parties (MOP 28) to the Montreal Protocol in October 2016, continuous discussion has been made to prevent global warming and to phase down HFCs. In order to address these global environmental issues, we have actively worked on the development and dissemination of environment-friendly high-efficiency equipment by making full use of heat pump technology. The efficient use of energy is a critically important issue both for developed and developing countries. Japan's cutting-edge energy-saving technologies and cooling technologies play a major role in the resolution of these issues. In this connection, to popularize these technologies and earn even greater trust from consumers and users, we will work harder to enhance product safety.

The upcoming "HVAC & R Japan 2020" will exhibit cutting-edge energy-saving technologies and new cooling technologies, ZEB/ZEH, and energy management technologies used in BEMS/HEMS/FEMS, etc., the latest environment-conscious products and systems that employ IoT and AI technology, etc. in one place under the main theme of "Solutions for the future lie in HVAC & R."”.

HVAC&R JAPAN features multiple events at once: not only does it offer special lectures by notable figures (TBD), various kinds of seminars and information on new products and trends provided by exhibitors. HVAC&R JAPAN is designed to facilitate business opportunities for exhibitor companies and to provide a place for exhibitors to disseminate information on their cutting-edge technologies to the world. HVAC&R JAPAN, held once every two years, provides a venue for exhibitors to showcase and promote their latest technologies, products, and systems, and for visitors and exhibitors to engage in productive business discussions. We hope that everyone will take advantage of this rare business opportunity.

For the Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association, HVAC&R JAPAN 2020 represents our passion for the industry and our way of conveying it to the world. Our goal is to create an ever-better heating, cooling, ventilating, and refrigeration environment and to continue to reach as many people as possible, as well as to facilitate the ongoing development of our association and affiliated organizations. We would like you to understand our goal and to actively participate in the exhibition. Your tremendous support will be greatly appreciated.
