JRAIA‘s Side Event at MOP31, 13:00-15:00 TUESDAY 5th November, 2019

Japan’s F-gas policy and current status of measures to curb greenhouse gas emissions and to enhance energy efficiency products in RACHP sector

 

In this side event, latest development of Japan’s legislation will be presented by METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry). Following METI’s presentation, JRAIA (The Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association) will provide latest industry activities for transition to low-GWP refrigerants with energy saving products. In addition, JARAC (Japan Association of Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Contractors)will report latest recovery and disposal of refrigerants in Japan and capacity building for contractors. Lastly, NEDO (New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization) will present current R&D projects for low-GWP refrigerants.
